Hello. My name is Dr. Bhavna Shah and I am glad you are here! I'm a Pediatric Physical Therapist with over 10 years of experience.
I truly believe that physical therapy in the formative years (ages 0-3) helps best set up each child for success. I enjoy working with families and empowering caregivers to advocate for their child’s unique needs.
My older brother has spastic quadriplegic cerebral palsy. I understand firsthand the impact that a disabled family member has on the family dyad. I treat each patient with respect and push them to be the strongest version of themselves while being sensitive to the challenges that may come along with having a child with special needs.
I have worked at one of the top children’s hospitals in the country for over 10 years including the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). I have worked extensively with kids of all ages, with a passion for infants with varied diseases and disabilities and developmental delay.
I earned my Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from the University of Southern California. I have had the privilege of teaching within the USC DPT program, and I currently serve as adjunct faculty at Stanbridge University, teaching the pediatric course to students.
